Operational conditions at the Valero Houston Refinery require the use of the safety flare system to safely burn off excess material and minimize potential emissions. No community impacts are anticipated. If appropriate, we may conduct air monitoring in the surrounding area. This is a courtesy notification from the Nouryon Battleground site. There will be planned maintenance activity on the site beginning today thru Friday, October 30, 2026. Smoke may be visible to the community. The ALL CLEAR will be issued once the maintenance activity has been completed. Again, this is a courtesy notification

This is a message from INEOS Styrolution - Port Rd. located at 12222 Port Rd. Pasadena TX 77507. At 07:40 on 10/23/2026 a Process/Unit upset occurred at our facility. At this time, Flaring may be noticeable to the community. We are actively responding to the incident. Protecting employees, neighbouring facilities, the community, and the environment remains a priority. An update will be posted on CAER when the incident is resolved.
